Kathrin Quesada, member of the board and active member of mediatEUr, has been appointed as the Senior Executive Officer of mediatEUr. Kathrin a trained lawyer and mediator, has substantial experience in  Security Sector Reform and Women in Peace and Security issues. 2nd edition of Belgian Mediation Week by mediatEUR training team

For the second year in a row, mediatEUr held a one week intensive mediation training with 10 selected diplomats from the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With Dr. Antje Herrberg as a lead trainer, the training included mediatEUr members Pierre Yves Monette (also former ombudsman of Belgium) Kathrin Quesada as well as Jerome Grimaud, with Marc Otte giving a lunch talk to the participants. High-Level Dialogue meeting between Syrian and Yemeni Women representatives

In her capacity as Gender Expert, mediatEUr’s Senior Executive Officer, Ms. Kathrin Quesada took part in a High-Level Dialogue meeting between Syrian and Yemeni Women representatives from 4 to 5 December in Brussels. Collaboration in ERMES (European Resources for Mediation Support)

The new Consortium of ERMES, under the lead of the College of Europe,  has recently signed a FWC contract with the European Commission, to support the European Union, to provide mediation and dialogue support on situation of need, with the steer of the EEAS, PRISM/ Mediation Support team.  The Consortium further consists of Interpeace, ESSEC, ECES, and the Foundation Hirondelle (more…)

New EEAS Mediation Contract Signed

We are delighted to have signed a four year framework contract on conflict prevention and mediation support for the EU, for which we were chosen together with our partners from swisspeace, ESSEC IRENE, CITpax, ECDPM, and Search for Common Ground.
