The course is part of the catalogue of knowledge-based specialisation courses offered by the European External Action Service (EEAS) and organised by the European Institute of Public Administration. mediateEUr worked with swisspeace to prepare and deliver this course.
During the three days of training, the trainers touched upon key issues in the field, including theoretical considerations, practical examples from their experience, and a discussion on the development and application of mediation and mediation support within the EU. It also included a role-play simulation of a mediation case.
The course provided participants with sound knowledge, and reviewed the lessons, opportunities and challenges for the European Union in the practice and support of mediation.
